How Hidden Creek Landscaping is Responding to COVID-19: READ HERE

Status Update of Hidden Creek Landscaping Inc. March 23rd, 2020

I would like to begin this letter by thanking the Governor and his staff for working to keep Ohio safe and informed on their plan. I would also like to acknowledge the admiration we all share here at Hidden Creek to all the doctors/ nurses/ military/ police officers/ firefighters and emergency staff that must do whatever it takes to care for so many regardless of their own safety.

Yesterday Governor Mike Dewine announced that only essential businesses are permitted to keep operating. A list was sent out with guidelines that are to be followed. We have read these guidelines and used our state associations to verify where our industry stands. Please see guidelines below.

For purposes of this Order, “Essential Businesses and Operations means… Essential Infrastructure, and the following: Building and Construction Tradesmen and Tradeswomen, and other trades including but not limited to plumbers, electricians, exterminators, cleaning and janitorial staff for commercial and governmental properties, security staff, operating engineers, HVAC, painting, moving and relocation services, and other service providers who provide services that are necessary to maintaining the safety, sanitation, and essential operation of residences, Essential Activities, and Essential Businesses and Operations.”

We have stepped up our awareness to social distancing and will continue to work on new policies and procedures to keep our teams and all the locations we are working on safe. Every team member at Hidden Creek has been given the option to stay at home and their job will be held until our Governor has released Ohioans back to work. We have also directed our sales staff that no face to face meetings are permitted during this 2-week time frame. As of March 24th only production staff and managers are permitted to enter Hidden Creek offices and we will be directing all Admin/ Sales/ Design/ to stay at home. As stated in our last release we are very grateful to have the support of our clients so that we may continue to provide the financial support our working staff needs. I do ask that if you are uncomfortable with our teams on your site that you email our office or your direct sales person to discuss a solution.

While this is still a very unsure time please know that Spring is here and all the beauty and hope it holds is right around the corner. The forsythia are starting to bloom, tulips are ready to open/ daffodils are here and ready for the sunshine, our turf is wanting to be green and ready to grow, the smell of the lilacs will be here soon and those lucky enough to have rhododendrons know those buds are ready to pop. Take a walk, get outside and have the faith that we will persevere all while being accompanied by the beauty that mother nature gives us.
