Hidden Creek Landscaping needs a career driven DRIVER for our Landscape Maintenance Foreman role that can deliver our professional maintenance services to our high end commercial and residential clients. This position is full time year-round and participates in snow removal services.
Specific Job Responsibilities
- Supervising, training, and motivating the work of a 2 to 3-member team to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency
- Hands-on work required with team members to complete projects in budget
- Operation of a variety of landscape maintenance equipment such as: John Deere, Toro 48”,52” and 60” mowers, push mower, line trimmers, hedge trimmer, truck w/trailer, skid loader, backpack blower, bed edger, mulch mule
- Daily tasks may include: mowing, line trimming, changing mower blades, weeding beds, pruning/shearing of shrubs, spot spraying of weeds, debri pick up, bed edging
- Coordinating with Field Service Manager on daily/weekly schedule, material/equipment needs, and budget hours
- Coordinating with Mechanic to maintain equipment, trucks, and trailers

This position coordinates with the Operations manager(s) and sales team to take the sold contract and implement it into production. This role includes purchasing materials, scheduling equipment and installation crews, overseeing training and safety, and coordinating with subcontractors to meet budget and goals of each project.
Specific Job Responsibilities
- Management of 3-4 Installation Crews from morning prep to end of day close out
- On-site training with foreman and crew members on proper installation techniques
- Ordering of project materials
- Management and scheduling of Subcontractors
- Communication with Operations manager on daily and weekly production of crews and forecasting additional labor, material, or equipment as needed

Sales and Estimating
- Update sales team daily on project progression and schedule forecasting. Assist sales team with takeoffs and review estimates. Proactively recommend enhancement opportunities to the sales team
Equipment
- Assign equipment and tools, Audit tools weekly for presence and condition. Instruct and supervise truck and equipment audits by supervisor and crew
- Support the mechanics program for Preventative Maintenance, repair procedures safety and function inspections, and inventory systems
- Train and maintain equipment repair process and ensure process is followed by all team members
Safety, Quality and Efficiency
- Train and strictly enforce all safety procedures and policies. Adhere to all paperwork and reporting requirements for accidents, injuries, and incidences. Ensure crews are working safely, productively, within the scope of the contract and to Hidden Creek standards
- Conduct safety audits on sites and consistently educate and train all staff members
- Provide hands on training and support of crew personnel in areas such as proper operation of equipment, tools, techniques, safety, and quality standards
- Lead weekly safety meetings and monitor safety record of crews and minimize accidents to personnel and equipment
- Track actual hours vs budget hours by task, time period, crew and job
Management responsibilities
- Build the bench to develop the future leaders of the company by identifying strengths and weaknesses of your team. Develop goals and train accordingly. Provide training, instruction, education, correction and follow up. Oversee training and certification activities
- Conduct reviews of all team members. Properly document coaching and performance related matters
- Review and approve/deny time off requests to ensure proper production coverage and complete necessary paperwork documentation. Document employee attendance (Tardiness, sick and vacation)

Qualifications
- Minimum 2-3 years experience in construction and pool installation; 1-2 years experience in a supervisory position overseeing install crews

Pool Construction Foreman
View Job DescriptionDescription: The Pool Construction Foreman is a pivotal part of the Landscape Construction Division and to the success of Hidden Creek Landscaping. This position is responsible for ensuring that the client’s expectations for site quality and services are being met or exceeded by managing, coordinating and monitoring the performance of their crews assigned to them. You will also be responsible for daily equipment monitoring, job site safety, and load securement.
Roles and Tasks:
- Manage construction projects
- Understand and interpret blueprints and drawings
- Prepare and install concrete
- Supervise, assist, and train crew to ensure proper quality, productivity, and safety standard are met in compliance with government and company PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) standards
- Oversee crew to ensure assigned jobs are completed within budgeted hours and quality of service exceeds customer expectations
- Coordinate schedule and site plans, suggestions, issues and concerns with Project Manager on a daily basis
- Oversee all activities pertaining to concrete preparation, placement, installation, finishing and curing
- Build and/or assemble wood or metal forms for the construction of concrete floors, slabs, walls, columns, elevated concrete slabs, stairways, etc
- Direct tasks include use of layout equipment and erecting/constructing forms, tying rebar, and finishing concrete
Skills and Qualifications:

- Challenge the established job plans periodically and continuously improve the plans. Create new job plans before the job begins.
- Review of job costing for each project by approving all PO’s and working with Contract administrator to create final gross margin analysis. Identify low performing jobs and re-planning the work to improve performance.
- Track actual hours vs estimated or budget hours per service line per time period per manager per crew and per job. Maintain and submit tracker reports to manager weekly. Review gross margins on all completed jobs with team.

Roles and Tasks :
- Develop and maintain long-term, loyal client relationships, which lead to 100% renewals of each account
- Develop and maintain a client schedule to perform site walk through and formal meetings to ensure service expectations are met
- Present site enhancement ideas to clients
- Create proposals and estimates and provide proper scope and time frame of work as estimated and approved by Production
- Coordinate with Operations Manager and Contract Administrator to ensure all paperwork is correct before production begins
- Follow up with clients weekly, when work orders are scheduled, and when they are completed
- Manage and update weekly reports regarding potential Sales leads
- Coordinate site visits with production team to ensure consistent and timely visits occur
- Approve project paperwork and verify final invoice is accurate
- Follow up with overdue invoices
- Weekly meetings with Sales team and Production to review current workload and pipeline
Skills and Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Horticulture or related field, or commensurate experience
- Desire 3+ years landscape and customer service experience including knowledge of local plant types, turf types and identification of common landscape issues and knowledge of common solutions
- Good written and oral communication skills
- A demonstrated ability to develop strong professional relationships in a business-to-business setting
- Creative problem solver with capacity to innovate and team oriented
- Microsoft Office skills

POSITION: Design Build Crew Member

Our Landscape Construction Laborers will be responsible for performing a variety of work tasks (generally physical labor) in order to assist with the completion of maintenance and hardscape installation services. You will also be required to operate a variety of tools and equipment to carry out specified job tasks.
Roles and Tasks:
- Assist the work of crew members to ensure proper safety, quality, and productivity
- Inspect all work for quality to eliminate the need for return visits and/or re-work due to quality or customer satisfaction issues
- Make sure assigned jobs are complete, within budgeted hours, and quality of service exceeds customer expectations
- Conduct daily inspections and maintenance on vehicles, tools, and equipment
- Conduct before and after inspections of job site
- Maintain and enforce standards of cleanliness and organization in assigned trucks, trailers, equipment, jobsites, and shop/yard areas
- Ensure that all work activities are carried out in a safe and efficient manner, and that all crew members are in compliance with government and company PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) standards
- Various work assignments including patio installation, outdoor kitchens, retaining walls, pavers, water features, low voltage lighting, plant installations & maintenance, wooden structures and masonry
- Operate power equipment including, but not limited to, masonry saw, skid steer, mini excavator, sod cutters, chain saws, and more
- Cut grass, trim edges, clean up refuse, blow trimmings, Assist in Weeding of landscape beds, Assist in hand pruning (3 D’s), (dead diseased or damaged) trees under 12’, annual and perennial care
Skills and Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License (preferred)
- 1+ year of landscape experience (preferred)
- 1+ General labor experience (preferred)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

POSITION: Landscape Project Manager
DESCRIPTION
Hidden Creek Landscaping is looking for an organized and driven individual to join our team as the Landscape Project Manager.
This position coordinates with the Director of Operations and Sales team to take the sold contract and implement it into production. This role includes purchasing materials, scheduling equipment and installation crews, overseeing training and safety, and coordinating with subcontractors to meet budget and goals of each project.
Specific Job Responsibilities Include:
- Management of 3-4 Landscape Installation Crews from morning prep to end of day close out
- On-site training with foreman and crew members on proper installation techniques
- Ordering of project materials and Management and scheduling of Subcontractors
- Vehicle and Equipment maintenance in coordination with Mechanic
- Communication with Director of Operations on daily and weekly production of crews and forecasting additional labor, material, or equipment as needed
- Daily input and review of data for job costing and proper tracking of employee and job hours/materials
- Tracking and reporting of safety issues/incidents, review of team performance, and participating in interviews for additional team members
