Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Perform all phases of the design process including site measurements, initial concepts, drafting, construction documents, hand sketching/3D modeling, submittals & permitting, hard scape and plant material selection, and attend client meetings and presentation w/Sales Lead
  • Organization of project materials & information according to Design Process
  • Collaborate with Design Team on large scale projects
  • Ensure accurate field verifications, measurements and analysis
  • Coordination with sales team, clients & vendors
  • Generating new vendors and sub-contractors through networking, online research, and referrals
  • Researching new products (online or at Design Centers)
  • Participation in networking and marketing events to promote Hidden Creek Landscaping

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in landscape architecture, forestry or a closely related field
  • 2-5 years’ experience and degree in landscape architecture required
  • Proficiency in the following programs is a must: AutoCAD, Photoshop, Sketch-up (or similar 3D programs), In-Design, Illustrator, Excel and other MS Office programs
  • Hand sketching abilities required
  • Knowledge of Ohio plant palettes
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to be organized, proactive, and prioritize multiple tasks both independently and with the team

  • Operate power equipment including, but not limited to, masonry saw, skid steer, mini excavator, sod cutters, chain saws, and more
  • Cut grass, trim edges, clean up refuse, blow trimmings, Assist in Weeding of landscape beds, Assist in hand pruning (3 D’s), (dead diseased or damaged) trees under 12’, annual and perennial care

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Valid Driver’s License (preferred)
  • 1+ year of landscape experience (preferred)

The Maintenance Field Technician shares Hidden Creek’s vision of providing exceptional customer service to all of its many clients. This position is responsible for assisting the Foreman and your fellow crew members with all aspects of daily work. You will help to insure the client’s expectations for site quality and services are being met or exceeded.

The Field Technician will be responsible for performing a variety of work tasks (generally physical labor) in order to assist with the completion of maintenance services. You will also be required to operate a variety of tools and equipment to carry out specified job tasks.

Roles and responsibilities in this position are:

  • Communicate with your Foreman to plan out the day.
  • Assist your Foreman in the loading/unloading of trucks and trailers in the AM and PM including all daily labor, equipment and materials required to complete daily objectives.
  • Assist the work of crew members to ensure proper safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Inspect all work for quality to eliminate the need for return visits and/or re-work due to quality or customer satisfaction issues.
  • Make sure assigned jobs are complete, within budgeted hours, and quality of service exceeds customer expectations.

This position focuses on the client and delivering the scope of work promised in each contract, exceptional customer service, and an amazing finished project.

Specific Job Responsibilities

  • Establish expectations in first meeting to educate client on design fees, projected timeline, project management, and closeout
  • Follow the sales and design process: set initial client meeting, assess services, coordinate with designer on site and client analysis to create concept drawings, create proposal, create proposal/estimate and present design to client, keep client informed of all phases of the project and follow-up within 24 hours to resolve issues when necessary until final completion
  • Ensure accurate site analysis and grade measurements with designer
  • Collaborate with project management, design team and production to match job resources and product needs with quoted timeframes and within budget
  • Responsible for necessary follow-up, follow-through on projects to ensure complete client satisfaction
  • Positively promote Company culture and attend after hours network events to continue to develop new business

Qualifications Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years residential landscape/construction sales experience
  • Degree in a Landscape-related field, preferred
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills to establish and maintain effective relationships with clients and team members
  • Passionate about prospecting and developing customer relationships
  • Ability to use estimating programs and software – LMN Estimating system (or similar program)/Microsoft Office suite

POSITION: Landscape Project Manager

DESCRIPTION

Hidden Creek Landscaping is looking for an organized and driven individual to join our team as the Landscape Project Manager.

This position coordinates with the Director of Operations and Sales team to take the sold contract and implement it into production. This role includes purchasing materials, scheduling equipment and installation crews, overseeing training and safety, and coordinating with subcontractors to meet budget and goals of each project.

Specific Job Responsibilities Include:

  • Management of 3-4 Landscape Installation Crews from morning prep to end of day close out
  • On-site training with foreman and crew members on proper installation techniques
  • Ordering of project materials and Management and scheduling of Subcontractors
  • Vehicle and Equipment maintenance in coordination with Mechanic
  • Communication with Director of Operations on daily and weekly production of crews and forecasting additional labor, material, or equipment as needed
  • Daily input and review of data for job costing and proper tracking of employee and job hours/materials
  • Tracking and reporting of safety issues/incidents, review of team performance, and participating in interviews for additional team members
